Kathy, Buck and Jeff, it has been such a long, long time since my days at Nielsen's! Even so, I remember those days so fondly, mostly because of Kathy, Teri, JoAnne, Nancy, Karen, and the rest of 'em... My Nielsen memories also include a very young girl who occasionally would visit the office. It must have been that smile of hers, but I swear, whenever Missy came in, it felt as though the sun came in with her. And this is the way I will always remember her. My love and prayers for strength and healing go out to you all.

We haven't communicated in such a long time, and it is sad to make the contact under these circumstances. We (Jim, Teri, Tim & Michelle) were remembering the good times in Townsend with our special families (Ovaska, Ashe, Kyles, Daigle, Roberts) and the kids (the herd). The kids were always being on their best behavior (yeah right) but the best group when together. Grief is hard, but the good memories are going to come back and remember you have friends who are there for you and love you. We will be here for you should you need anything, and you will be in our hearts and prayers, as always.

Melissa was an special lady with an infectious smile. She was an amazing mother, nurse and friend. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Melissa at WPAFB. She was a very detail oriented nurse. She was encouraging to me as another mom. There were not that many of us moms working there at that time. It was nice to have someone just a little farther ahead of me on that road to work with. I remember long phone conversations after my first baby was born and her encouragement after the second one. Our family is praying for peace and comfort for you all right now as well as a strong support system to carry you through this time.

I talked with her several times while she was deployed and she always encouraged me for the journey I have am now on as a Nurse Practitioner in mental health since retiring. Shawn and boys...your wife and mother was a treasure to many of us in the Nurse Corp. We really are a small group of people...she will be missed. Rest in peace my friend, Linda Stanley

I was so blessed to have you in my life. You got me through our deployment with many laughs, tears and memories. I would write them here but there is not enough space to put them. You had an amazing smile that would light up anyone's worst day. You were an amazing mom to your boys, always up so early to talk to them on Skype and sending them things so they would remember you and know how much you loved them. Dana and I are trying our hardest to be strong because I know that is what you would want, but it has been hard. You were and still are such an important part of our lives and you seem to be present in almost every single thought.
