Theodore Sumrall, 86, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida went home to be with his Heavenly Father on March 20th at home surrounded by his loving family.
Ted was born at Sumrall, MS to Henry A and Cordie Sumrall. He attended Columbia High School and the University of Maryland.
Ted began a military career in the US Army serving in France towards the end of WWII in 1945 and retired from the USAF in Fort Walton Beach in 1967.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Jane of almost 61 years, son Dr. Theodore S. Sumrall (Maria), daughter Cynthia Gilley (Darryl), six grand children, (Theresa, Carolyn Hardy (Michael), Jacob (Lora), James, Theodore H. and Mary Elizabeth), great grandson James Roy Hardy, and brother Oliver Sumrall.
Ted is predeceased by five sisters and four brothers. Ted was cared for at home by his loving family and Emerald Coast Hospices Angels.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on Tuesday , March 25, 2014 at 10AM followed by internment at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
