Jane E. Martin 1924-2017

Jane, our mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on her 93rd birthday December 16. Jane was born in Lynchburg, VA and grew up in Tampa, FL. She married her beloved husband Ralph and together they traveled the world and lived life to the fullest. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and is survived by her 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Jane was involved  with Billy Bowlegs, a member of the “Dead Chef Society” and loved bridge, tennis, travel and being with her friends and family. The family wishes to thank Dr. Wyndal Blankenship, The Emerald Coast Cancer Center, Emerald Coast Hospice and most of all her care-givers Rosa, Cheryl and Linda.

A funeral service celebrating Jane’s life will be held at Emerald Coast Funeral Home Thursday, December 21st at 10:30am with reception immediately following. The family will receive visitors for fellowship one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place on Friday, December 22nd at 10am in Pensacola at Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in honor of Jane to the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge105 Santa Rosa Blvd, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 or a charity of your choice.
