Thursday the 16th, Edward Frank Wilson, age 83, passed away at his home in Fort Walton Beach.  Ed was preceded in death by his daughter Rebecca Thedford. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen; children Roy (Dana Sue), Eric (Sharon) and Samuel (Debbie Lee); 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Ed served 21 years in the Air Force retiring as a Master Sergeant and then retired again from Civil Service.  He was a volunteer Fireman at the Ocean City – Wright Fire Department and later served as Fire Commissioner.  Ed and his son Eric founded Apex Electrical Contractors in 1998 with Ed retiring from Apex in 2013. A visitation will be held at Emerald Coast Funeral Home 161 Racetrack Rd, Sunday, February 19th from 6 to 8pm.  A funeral service will be held at Covenant Community Church 1007 Gospel Rd on Monday, February 20th at 11am with Pastor James Grabo officiating.  Interment will immediately follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
