Hello Bunny, A news item today about Eglin prompted me to look up Bobby and to my surprise I learned of his untimely death. My deepest condolences.

I tried to find a phone number or email for you but without success. If you should read this, please get in touch. My email is boberl501@verizon.net and my cell is 443-824-0100.

This takes me back decades to when we were kids together. Fun times, for sure.

Love,
Bob Erlandson

Dr. Saxer was a very caring person and was admired by all who met him. He took such good care of all my children starting 50 years ago. He will be missed by so many people. My prayers are with Joyce and her family.

I want to wish my condolences to the family of Dr Saxer. Though I did not know him for long, I appreciated his sense of humor and his love for his family. May God richly bless each and every one of you.

Dear Joyce and all your beautiful children. I have not enough words to tell you all how sorry I was to hear about your husband and father, Dr. Saxer. Beside being an excellent pediatrician, he was a kind and caring person. Many times I have taken my children to him with various and assorted illnesses and I would be presenting the same symptoms as they were. So, after writing their prescriptions, he wrote one for me, saying, "Here, Mom, this is for you." When we first moved to FL, The first child I took to him was my youngest daughter, Jane. Then, when another kid got sick and I told him we were going to see Dr. Saxer, Jane pipes up and says "That's MY Dr. Saxer!" He was their Dr. until they got too old for him so then he took care of my grandchildren. My heart goes out to you all and my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless you and may He comfort and console you in this difficult time.

I had the honor of working with Dr. Saxer in 1987-1990. His concern for military families during "Desert Storm" has never been forgotten. He was a pillar of strength, faith, and guidance for those of us in need.. his patience, dedication, and kindness will always be remembered.

As a fellow Roman Catholic, I never saw a minister receive (or since receive) a standing ovation for a homily (sermon). One 11 AM mass at St. Mary's (FWB), on the anniversary of Roe v Wade, so many years ago, he gave a rousing talk on Pro-Life. Still the best sermon I have ever heard. Rest well Deacon--Good and Faithful Servant! Prayers to the family on their tremendous loss! We all lost "One of the Good Guys!"

Mike and Saxer family,
Karen and I are deeply saddened by the loss of your father. We express our deepest sympathy and love to you, Janet and the family.

We both know how the affect last for losing a Mom or Dad but time does heal and we believe that God now has another job for your wonderful Dad in heaven and that the job he was created for here on earth is now finished but God is not through with him yet!
Your Dad apparently served God well and will get h is reward in heaven! May God Bless your Mom and all the siblings and comfort all in this passing of this beloved Catholic, husband, father, grandfather and friend!

Our heart is heavy for all of you but time will heal and his memory will surely live on.

Look up for all answers... never down!
