It was my privilege and honor to have worked and learned from Jo Sisson while serving on the Okaloosa County School Board.. Not only was Jo loved and appreciated in our county, but she was also "statewide" known and admired. She now adds to the angels in heaven.

Jo was my county home economics supervisor for many years. I can still see her smiling face when she walked into my classroom. Jo was friendly and welcoming. She supported all of who taught home economics and stood firmly for our programs. She was a leader but was also a special friend who taught me how to be a better teacher. I am truly blessed to have known her. I hope all of you have special memories to bring you smiles. Please be comforted knowing that Jo touched many lives in a special way. Lyn Sheffield
