I was so shocked and saddened to learn that Deborah was gone. I was the Program Director at Uniformed Services University when she graduated with her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. That smile truly says it all - Deborah was always smiling, always helping others, and genuinely cared for those around her. She is gone much too soon, and will be sorely missed.

I first came to know Lt Col McCall when we were stationed in Hawaii. She was my provider throughout 2 of my back to back pregnancies. I would often help her with Systems issues and enjoyed every work order I had with her... Mostly goofing off and checking out different apps on our phones. I was then able to reunite with her years later at Hurlburt Field. I was very fortunate to be able to spend more time with her before her passing, laughing and sharing tears. She will be truly missed❤️

I am so saddened to learn of Debbie's passing. I noticed in the many loving posts she was referred to as "Deb" or "Deborah". Growing up with her in Bud, WV we called her Debbie. I have not seen her in years, but I remember her well from our childhood days. Just as her picture confirms, she was always happy and smiling, but was tough when she needed to be. My love and condolences go out to her family, and prayers for the strength and comfort as you face this tremendous loss.

My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. I will always remember her as a second mother who allowed us girls to live and learn and be there to guide us when we were lost. I will never forget our trip to Cabo and the 18 years of memories made. You are in my thoughts and prayers and my heart aches for your loss.

Lt. Col. McCall was one of the first people I connected to as a new hire at work. She was so kind and helpful to me. She had such a warmth and openness about her. The term Mamma Bear is a good one. She felt like everyone's Mamma here at work and was always willing to reach out and help to her full extent. She always had a smile on her face and I never heard her complain. She was an excellent Nurse Practitioner as well and very compassionate. She was a leader and a teacher. She reached out to new nurses, techs and other Nurse Practitioners to teach and assist in any way. She was a true role model and leader. I will truly miss her her and my heart and prayers go out to her family. I can only hope that we get more like her here. God bless you and thank-you form the bottom of my heart Lt. Col McCall and the Lord has truly received a angel.

My deepest sympathy. I had the pleasure of working with Deb at the Hurlburt Medical Clinic. She would send her meeting minutes down for my review and in would mark them up in purple. She was so sweet and funny when I'd send them back for corrections. We would have conversations in her office whine I would go to help her on the computer. After I retired in Nov 2015 she would text me for help with manipulating different things on the computer for the papers she would be working on for her Masters. I would click here, then there in a snap of the fingers and she would shake her head with a smile saying I made it look so easy. She spoke dearly of her husband and children. Deb had a heart of gold and a kind heart. May she rest in peace in our Lords loving grace, free off pain and sickness. My heart aches for her family, but though she is physically gone, her memory will remain forever in the heart of all those she touched.

She was sunshine on a dreary day for the 1st Special Operations Medical Group. Her smile and loving heart will be missed. I asked her one day why she kept coming to work. I told her she didn't have to since she was in the patient squadron. She said because she loved being around her military family. Coming to work gave her strength. I'll always remember her grace and determination in the end.
