Willie Earl Ashley, affectionately known as “Earl” was born April 1, 1955 in Flowersview, FL to Benjamin Ashley Jr. and Nezzie A. Wright in Flowersview, FL

Earl graduated from Paxton High School, he was head chef at the Ramada Inn in Fort Walton Beach, FL for over 30 years until his retirement 2018.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons: Christian Washington, Fort Walton Beach, FL, Lateef (Samantha) Ashley, Shalimar, FL and his daughter Latonya Washington of Opp, AL; his siblings: Mary J. (Jimmy, deceased) Bryant, of Fort Walton Beach, FL Fred (Dot) Ashley, Riverdale, GA, Benjamin Ashley, III, Hindsville, GA; and Elizabeth (Nelson) Sanders of Fort Walton Beach, FL and 2 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
