William Bruce Schofield

William BRUCE Schofield (58) from Destin, FL passed away on May 5, 2021 at his home.  Bruce was born to Horace Schofield and Paula Rojas on October 13, 1962.  Bruce spent a lifetime fishing, riding dirt bikes and telling crazy stories.  He was always quick with a joke and lived life to the fullest. Bruce is survived by his only son , Captain Christopher Schofield; daughter in law, Missy Schofield; grandson, Kaleb Blackburn; uncle, Captain David Rojas; aunt, Barbara Rojas; cousins, Deborah Rojas, Diana Rojas Hunley, David Rojas Jr, and Jeannie Powell.  Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Horace Schofield; his mother, Paula Register; his step-father,William Register, and his uncle, Michael Rojas. A burial at sea followed by a Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.  Please meet at the Charterboat American Spirit at 4pm for the burial at sea.  We will be going in the Gulf to send Bruce off to his final resting place so please wear appropriate boating attire.  Please meet at the Boathouse Oyster Bar directly afterwards (approximately 6pm for those that cannot make it to the burial at sea) so we can celebrate the life of William BRUCE Schofield.
