William Glen Peel, 48, of Shell Point, died in a diving accident and was lost at sea on June 17, 2017.  He was a native of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and moved to Wakulla County 20 years ago. Glen was an avid fisherman, hunter, shooter, loved diving and was a FSU sports fan. Glen attended Fort Walton Beach High School, class of 1986, Daytona Community College and FSU.  Glen was an independent contractor for Fed-X.

Survivors include his wife Alicia Tatum Peel, mother Ann Scroggins(Charles), father Donnie Peel(Linda), grandmother Mary Mitchell, mother-in-law Mary Ann Tatum, 3 step children Aaren Cassidy(Matthew), Ashley Clack(Robert) and Ryan Reyna(Nicole), brother Donald Scott Peel(Samantha), 2 step brothers Jeff Scroggins(Dorys) and Tommy Scroggins(Deborah), 2 step sisters Jennifer Scroggins(Billy) and Melissa Bumpers(Tracy) nephews Stephen Scott Peel and Tyler Tatum, 2 brother-in-laws Tim Tatum and Ricky Tatum and 4 grandchildren Ava Dean, Kaleb, Carsyn and Colton as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will also be held on July 8, 2017 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home 161 Racetrack Rd. NW Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Visitation will be at 10:00AM and service at 11:00AM
