William W Halans

William “Bill” Halans, age 74, of Shalimar, Fl. was called home on November 9, 2021. Bill was born on March 8, 1947 in St. Louis, Mo. to Fred and Norma Halans.  After Fred passed away, Norma remarried James “Jim” Davis.  Bill retired from the Air Force, this is where he met and married Beverly, his first wife. He later graduated from DeVry Institute. He worked as an Engineer and later retired from the Base Exchange.

Bill is survived by his wife, Sidonia and best friend of 30 years; step- children, Martina, Anna, Megan(Angel), Trysten (Lexi), Trever and Trentyn and Mama, Keanu, Ms. Priss, Midnight, CJ, Baby, Curious, Blue, Trouble, KJ, Jaden & Koda and of course Freddy, Panda & Roxy all our fur babies he loved so much! His first wife, Beverly, his parents, and lil Bit & Diamond precede him in death.

Bill will be remembered for being a sweet, soft spoken and gentle man. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and anything football. He also loved watching Lawrence Welk and all the NCIS’s. He especially liked watching the kittens play! He was loved by his extra family and will be missed dearly.

 A Visitation will take place on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Emerald Coast Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2:00 P.M.  Interment to follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.  Expressions of love and sympathy may be placed and viewed online at www.emeraldcoastfuneralhome.com
