Tribute

William Hewlett Carothers, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away suddenly at home and was embraced in the arms of his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ in the early morning of Friday, May 27, 2022.

William was born on May 7, 1963, to his amazing parents, William Hamilton Carothers and Joan Whitaker Carothers in Jackson, Mississippi. William grew up in Jackson, Miss. and in his early twenties, he anchored his feet in the sands of Fort Walton Beach. He loved sharing his passion for the water with his friends and family.  He could be found riding the waves of Cinco Bayou on a speedy jet ski. One of William’s proudest moments was when he was given the title of Uncle, twice. He loved spoiling them with jokes, laughter, and his never-ending love.

He is preceded in death by his father William Hamilton Carothers; and sister Carolyn Prince.

William is survived by his mother Joan Whitaker Carothers of Milton, FL; sister Kanda Reynolds of Fort Walton Beach, FL; brothers Raymond Carothers of Shalimar, FL, and John (Rebecca) Carothers of Milton, FL; Nephews William Hamilton Carothers of Jacksonville, FL and Nicholas Carothers of Milton, FL; dear friend David Hans of Shalimar, FL; and many other relatives.
