Tribute

Bill Anderson, 87, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida went to be with his Savior on December 2nd, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.  Bill was born on January 16th, 1932 in LaPorte, Indiana to Phillip and Lillian Anderson.  He was married to his loving wife Audrey on June 23rd, 1956 in Stornoway, Saskatchewan.  After high school, he immediately enlisted in the Air Force and was off to the Korean War.  Bill remained in the military until he retired in 1970.  Bill was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Shalimar and loved his church family and his Lord.  Bill is survived by his wife Audrey of 63 years of marriage. He is also survived by his son Brett and wife Michelle, 3 grandchildren, Lauren, Blake & Kayley of Pensacola, Florida.  Bill is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Norman and Robert Anderson and 3 sisters, Irene Zook, Charlotte Raines and Jeanette Bradburn.

Visitation will be held at 10 am on Monday, December 9th, 2019 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1 Meigs Dr, Shalimar, FL 32579.  Funeral Service will be immediately following visitation at 10:30.  Service will be performed by Pastor Ray Angerman. A reception will follow the celebration of life.  Final interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Shalimar- Right to Life Team, 1 Meigs Dr. Shalimar, FL 32579. “Neither death nor life nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creatures, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 8:38-39.
