Wanda W. Vasso, age 88, of Destin, FL passed away on December 28, 2017. She was born on July 24, 1929 in California to the late Clayton H. Ward and Esther Huffman. Wanda lived in Destin, FL for over 60 years. She sold Avon for 20 years and belonged to Tri-Chem a crafts hobby for 20 years. She was a blue ribbon winning quilt maker and had a sizeable stamp collection. Wanda collected coins and was an avid animal lover all of her life. She also enjoyed deep sea fishing and spent a lot of time on the Lady Eventhia. She is predeceased by her husband, Jimmie L. Vasso, her brother Bill. She is survived by her long- time friend and caregiver Rodney Souza that loved her very much and will miss her greatly. She had no children but had many nieces and nephews and grand and great grand -nieces and nephews. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Alaqua Animal Refuge or the Cat Clinic of Destin.
