Vilou Jo Tanner

Vilou Jo Tanner, 76, formally of Fort Walton Beach and Cocoa, Florida died on September 6, 2018 at her home in Destin, Florida.  A Memorial Service will be held 10 AM on Monday, September 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Destin, FL. 

Jo was born January 9, 1942 to the late John and Myrtle Nichols in Mobile Alabama.  She retires from property management and was a bookkeeper for First Baptist Church.  Jo will be remembered as a loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband Julius O. Tanner, her parents, and a sister Grace Zeigler.

Jo is survived  by her two daughters Leigh Ann (Tanner) Adams and Kathryn (Kat) Valdez; son-in-law Mark Valdez; three grandchildren Joshua Valdez, Jordan T. Valdez, and Garrett R. Cash; brother-in –law Jerry Tanner; sister-in- law Jan Tanner.
