Travis Odell Rogers

Travis O. Rogers (Major, USAF Retired) of Crestview, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, March 30, 2018 at his home after a brief illness. He was 84. Travis was born on January 29, 1934 and lived in California until he joined the United States Air Force as an Officer candidate. He graduated as a Pilot in 1960 and served his country in Vietnam from 1962 – 1967 and remained active until his retirement in 1975. After his military service, he returned to college and received his Master's Degree from Troy University.

Travis had many interests and playing golf with his gaggle was one of his greatest enjoyments.

He is lovingly survived by his wife Jeannie of 45 years, daughter Laura of Tampa, two grandchildren Katie and Michael, his son, Jeff of Ft. Walton Beach, extended family & friends and his loyal feline companions. He will forever remain in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local cat or animal rescue organization in his name.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00PM with a Military Honors service to follow from 2:00 – 3:00 PM.
