Stacy A. McLaughlin

Stacy A. McLaughlin, age 55, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in Fort Walton Beach, FL.  She was born in Goosebay Labrador, Newfoundland, Canada to Lt. Col. Jack and Shirley (Swan) Bobbitt in 1962.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Jacqueline Roy.  Stacy was a member of Chapel of Cross CEC. Stacy was an artistic person, she loved to sing, knit/crochet and make her daughters costumes for Halloween. From Sailor Moon to Matadors, Stacy made all of her their costumes. Stacy had a big heart and was always there ready to lend a helping hand when needed. Stacy was a very supportive mom, to her eldest daughter she was a swim coach and to her youngest a band mom. Stacy was a very dedicated worker never missing a day of work. Whatever Stacy set out to do, she gave it her all. Stacy was a very unique individual that was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Stacy is survived by her loving husband of  28 years, Richard McLaughlin; daughters, Morgan L. Bollhalter (Matthew)  and Riley E. McLaughlin; sister Tracy Bobbitt; brother Bryan Bobbitt (Suzanne); mother-in-law, Carolyn J. McLaughlin; brothers- in- law, Robin McLaughlin (Melanie), Russell McLaughlin (Ellen), and Robert Roy. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 24, 2018 at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
