Sandra R. (Cunningham) Ferrell

Sandra R. (Cunningham) Ferrell, a quiet gentle force, age 83 of Destin, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018. She was born August 28, 1935 in Willoughby, Ohio to parents Vivian and Joseph Ralston. Sandy was a loving wife, and a compassionate, caring mother to many more than just her own family. Her kitchen was always open and she could magically make meals appear. Her quiet, gentle spirit and her pleasant inspirational spunk touched so many lives. She will be greatly missed by all. Her charming smile was contagious, her heart welcoming and she always put others first. Her many passions included gardening, cooking, boating, traveling and spending time with her family and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Prince Ralston and Vivian Bishop Ralston; former husband, Lyman Escott Cunningham; Sandy is survived by her husband, Edward S. Ferrell, Sr.; brother, W. Gary and Pat Ralston of Boulder, CO. children, Kim C. and Daniel Mirelman, Lyman Scott and Cathy Cunningham, Sr., Brian R. Cunningham, Edward and Charlene Ferrell, Jr., Scott Ferrell; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November, 27, 2018 from 5-7 P.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted November 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Destin Church of Christ.
