Samantha Lynn Carrell

Samantha Lynn Carrell, age 41, of Mobile, Alabama passed away suddenly on May 25, 2023.  From Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Samantha was born in 1981 to Samuel Johnson and Michelle Carrell. 

In her spare time, Samantha enjoyed watching movies, especially scary movies.  She also enjoyed singing karaoke and going out to eat.  Samantha loved going to the beach but hated the heat.  Her favorite passion was Makeup!  Samantha will be remembered for her loving and kind spirit and as a person who loved to joke and laugh.  Samantha had a hearing impairment and would often turn her hearing aids off so as not to hear things that she didn’t want to hear. 

Samantha is preceded in death by her parents, Michelle Carrell and Samuel Johnson.  She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Thomas Allen; sister-in-law, Tia Austin; brothers, Shawn Johnson, Terrance Johnson, Tanner Johnson, and Brandon Carrell; sisters, Crissy Johnson and Donna Jean Mayo; uncle, Martin Monaco; cousins, Amanda Monaco, Dylan Monaco, Jacob Monaco, Josh Monaco, John Monaco, Shawn Monaco, Tiffany Perry, Joy Conn, Kaitlyn Kauffman, and Lindsay Nathey; many nieces and nephews; and a host of family, loved ones, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at 10:00 am at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, in Fort Walton Beach.  The family will accept flowers in sympathy or you may make a donation in Samantha’s name to the American Society for Deaf Children by visiting www.deafchildren.org
