Ross Charles Shaw

Ross Charles Shaw, age 85, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019.  He was born September 23, 1934 in Independence, Iowa to the late Frank William Shaw and Viola Helen Wenthe.

Ross retired from the United States Air Force and enjoyed flying as a pilot while serving.  He loved playing tennis and golf.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He lived for the holidays and going to estate sales.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Shaw; and his daughter, Angela Beal. 

Survivors include his children Frank (Kathy) Shaw of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Pat (Misty) Shaw of Freeport, FL; seven grandchildren, Josh, Jessica, Nate, Sam, Lauren, Kaytlynn and Jenna; and 4 great grandchildren; his brother, Alfred Shaw; his sister, Helen Yount; and his special friend, Brenda Banks.

A memorial service will be Friday, October 25, 2019 at 4 PM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Shalimar with Pastor Ray Angerman officiating.
