Tribute

"Ron" Roland Charles Hickman was born to the late John and Virgie Hickman, in Chandler, Arizona on January 14, 1949. He was a 1968 graduate of Clearfield High School in Utah. After high school he enlisted in the U.S Air Force where he served 20 years as a loadmaster on the MC-130 and became a member of

Stray Goose International. He graduated with his master's degree in Environmental Science from the University of West Florida that helped land him a position on Eglin Air Force Base where he worked Civil Service as the Hazardous Waste Manager for 21 years before retiring in 2019.

Ron was blessed with a large and loving family which included his 3 beautiful children, Ronni, Mandy, and John along with his loving wife of 14 years Maria. In addition to spending time with his family, Ron had several passions; golfing, hitting balls at the driving range, watching golf on tv and probably his most

favorite, getting his grandchildren to find lost golf balls all over different courses and convincing them it was just like an Easter egg hunt.

Ron is survived by his wife, Maria; his daughters, Ronni (Dustin) and Mandy (Eric); his son, John; his grandchildren, Jenna, India (Chandler), Destiny, Megan, Krissa (Jonathan) and Dustin Jr; his great grandchildren, Walker, Bailee and Olivia; his brothers, Laron (Barbara) and Danny (Cecile); His sisters,

Patricia, Angie (Phil) and Tris; as well numerous nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

A service honoring Ron will be Saturday July 2 at 11 am located at Destiny Worship Center, 233 Hill Ave NE, followed by a

reception at Gator Lakes Golf Course on Hurlburt Field immediately following the service.
