Robert E. Egstad

Robert E. “Eggie” Egstad, age 81, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away January 9, 2022.  He was born September 20, 1940 in Mountain, Wisconsin, to Warren Egstad and Ella Klover Egstad.

Robert served in the United States Navy and enjoyed golf, bingo and participated in a number of fund raising and charity events.  He was a Moose Lodge Officer and Member, a member of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge.

He was predeceased by his parents, survivors include his children, Rebecca (Marty) Ginn, Constance (Mark) Daywalt and Robert E. Egstad II; his siblings, Jim (Kathy) Egstad, Bonnie Jones, Bill (June) Egstad, Denny Egstad and Cindy (Denny) Norin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Family will be Friday, January 28, 2022 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.  There will be a Celebration of Life at the Moose Lodge, 215 Green Acres Road, Fort Walton Beach on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 3:00 PM.  Inurnment will be Monday, January 31, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery.  Expressions of love and sympathy may be placed and viewed at www.emeraldcoastfuneralhome.com
