Robert "Bob" David Williams born on August 9th, 1956, passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 67.
He was born to Nona Ruth Higginbotham and Harry Dale Williams on August 09, 1956, in Richlands, Virginia. Robert attended Max S. Hayes Vocational School in Cleveland Ohio before he enlisted in the United States Air Force; A career spanning over twenty years as a Staff Sergeant. He served his country working on radars in San Jose; Minute Man Missile silo in Kansas, and B-52’s at Mather, Air Force Base, California. His work as an electrical engineer continued at Kunsan Air Force Base, Korea, George Air Force Base, California, and Eglin Air Force Base, Florida until he retired from Eglin Air Force Base. Bob worked cellular phone maintenance before moving on to GWEF at Eglin Air Force Base as a contractor where he retired in August 2021 at 65 years.
Of his many activities, he enjoyed rock climbing, skiing, scuba, motorcycle rides, weightlifting, model trains, and computer gaming.
He is predeceased by his mother; Nona Ruth (James), father; Harry Dale, brother-in-law; David E. Smyers, and stepmother; Judith Montgomery.
He leaves behind his wife of 34 years; Mary Beth, sister; Sandra Bichsel (Allen), mother-in-law; Nancy Hall, sister-in-law; Sallie Smyers, nieces; Zara and Mollie Heffner, nephew; Wyatt Smyers, father-in-law; David W. Smyers (Donna), brothers-in-law; Tim Breckel, David Breckel (Angie), and niece; Courtney
