As the first snow of the season falls silently outside our home in Bethlehem, PA, we are so sad our good friend and my fellow fighter pilot has passed. I flew with him at three different assignments in the Air Force, worked with him as an F-4 fighter pilot instructor, and as an F-4 Stan Eval evaluator. He was the commensurate fighter pilot and patriot, risking his life for his country and friends in both combat and training missions. He passed on critical skills to his students and less experienced fighter pilots, myself included. He has remained Kit's and my very good friend in retirement. I owe a great deal to Dick and his flying instruction, but most of all we will all miss his friendship, his sense of humor, and all those emails. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Chris, and your family. He will be greatly missed! John Cotton, USAF, Col, (Ret)

An outstanding man who lived a full life, he showed love and respect and was given love and respect by those around him. This man was a blessing and in return he was blessed. My condolences to the family on the loss of this honorable man.
