Richard E, Carr, age 81, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away on June 9, 2017. He was born in Richmond Hill New York on March 23, 1936 to Edmund and Marion Carr.  He was retired from the US Air Force and also retired from Civil Service. He enjoyed bowling and family. He is predeceased by his parents, Edmund and Marion Carr and his daughter Judi Lynn Carr.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda J. Brackett, his grandchildren, Keith Brackett, Shaun Brackett, Rose Marie Sconiers, Sandra Lee and Michelle Lee, and his five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Allner, Sharon Barnett, Carol Olsen and Shirley Mulhall and brothers Roger Carr and Gary Carr.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday June 15,2017 at 2 p.m. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place at Baranncas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Fl. on Monday June 19th at 1:30.
