Reginald (Reggie) Tatum passed away peacefully April 23, 2021 in Fort Walton Beach. He was born October 17, 1937 in Waycross, Georgia to James and Elizabeth Tatum. Reggie is met in heaven by his parents. Reggie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances Tatum and two children Adam (Jennifer) Tatum and Cheryl (Steve) Rushing. He is warmly and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Rachel (Ben) Sanders, Noah (Tina) Tatum, Sarah Hawn, Eden (Brennan) Waldron, Jonah (Sara) Tatum, and 7 great-grandchildren: Desi, Brodyn, Scarlet, Dean, Deckard, Esther and Abel. Reggie loved his God, his family and his country. Reggie served in the United States Air Force for 20 years followed by a career at First City Bank as a data processor. Reggie loved talking to people; no one was a stranger to him. His favorite pastime was to spend time fishing, hiking, taking nature photos and bird watching. His love for nature has been passed down to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He cherished his sweet wife Frances and will forever be loved by her. The celebration of his life will be April 26, 2021 at Mary Esther Baptist Church with a visitation at 11:00 am followed by a ceremony at 12:00 pm. Graveside services will be at Beal Cemetery.
