Patricia Lynn Reeder

Patricia Lynn Reeder, age 71, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away and went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 3, 2018 while surrounded by her family.

She was born to the late Garvis and Edna Nowling on July 8, 1947 in Pensacola, FL and made Fort Walton Beach her home.  She was a 1965 graduate of Choctawhatchee High School where she was a proud member of the marching band as a majorette.    She enjoyed growing up on Bay Drive, soaking up the sun and skiing in the local bayous and bays. 

Her life was centered around faith, family and her marriage of over 50 years. She spent much of her life battling health complications that she endured only through the grace of God.  Her strong will and stubborn demeanor, which her friends and family knew her for, helped her persevere through the reoccurring health challenges.  She treasured the continued support that was constantly provided from family, friends and church community.

She is predeceased by her brother, Phillip Wesley Nowling and her parents.  She is survived by her husband, Larry Edward Reeder of 50 years; father-in-law Clarence Edward Reeder; children, Brian (Denise) Reeder, Stephen (Ila) Reeder, Daren (Jenna) Reeder, and grandchildren Mackenzie, Caleb, Logan, Nora and Ivy.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Rd. NW, Ft. Walton Beach, FL., Burial will take place at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
