"Nina" Sang Mee Rodgers

Sang Mee (Nina) Rodgers, age 69, of Destin, Florida passed away on June 1, 2023.  Nina was born in South Korea to Han Jong Lee and Ok Hee Ho.  She married her husband, Paul Rodgers, on October 26, 1973, in Seoul, Korea.  Nina graduated from Calhoun Community College with a degree in Nursing.  In her spare time, Nina enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, walking on the beach, spending time with her church family, and making sure all of her guests had a five-star experience at the two condos that she owned. 

Nina is preceded in death by her father, Han Jong Lee; daughter, Angie Rodgers; and granddaughter, Mia Rodgers.  She is survived by her husband, Paul Rodgers, of Destin, Florida; sons, Eric Rodgers, of Destin, Florida, and Aaron (Allison) Rodgers, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Alex, Hannah, Nathan, Savanah, Rowen, Lil Alex, and Leah; two brothers, Sean (Wilda) Lee, of Camarillo, California and Roger (Insook) Lee, of Camarillo, California; three sisters, Sang Hee Masters, Christie Williams, and Jennifer Oh; three nieces; two nephews; and, three pets, Tinkerbell, Simon, and Missy. 

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 11:30 am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, in Niceville.  The family will receive guests for visitation one hour prior to the service.
