Tribute

Nicholas (“Nick”) Joel Swanson, age 32, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away on February 23rd, 2021.

Nick was born on June 23rd, 1988 to parents, Timothy and Cynthia Swanson.

Nick, A Father, Son, Brother, and Uncle. He loved life and strived to grow with his relationship with our creator. Nick went to Okaloosa Technical College after high school where he studied carpentry and HVAC installation. In 2006, his Daughter, Hannah Elizabeth, was born with Jerri Ann Howard. Hannah was his greatest life achievement.

Nick loved to go fishing, and spent many hours at Navarre Pier. Nick also enjoyed practicing his marksmanship at the shooting range, as well as being proficient in shooting his bow.

Nick leaves behind a Father (Timothy), Mother (Cynthia), Daughter (Hannah), Sister (Amanda Tyson) Brother-in-law (David Tyson) with nieces Abigail and Olivia Tyson; Sister (Christy Smith) Brother-in-law (Benjamin Smith), and nephew (Aiden Smith) and favored uncles Steve, Henry, Timmy and aunts Betty and Frances with many cousins.

Nick was blessed with many friends that he has known since his teenage years. Every one of his friends will testify that Nick was always there for them at any time of night or day to help them or just to make them smile. Nick had a knack for that because of his genuine care for people, and a sense of humor that his friends admired him for. In other words, Nick was a jokester.

Nick loved life and loved people which contributed to his enjoyment with cooking and recent position with Chosen one movers. He also donated time to our Church to perform general clean-up, carpentry, and labor for any project that needed to be completed. He leaves us with some unforgettable memories of Love and humor. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him and loved him.
