Nelda Ley age 79 of Mary Esther, FL passed away on September 6, 2017 in Fort Walton Beach. Nelda was born in Ardmore OK to Monroe and Ida Dowd in 1937. She was retired from the phone company and enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, nana and friend. Nelda is survived by her husband of 60 years James Ley, daughters, Tammy (Richard) Griggs, Cindy (Darrell) Ditsworth and Karen Ley. 6 grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Mallory Ditsworth, David Griggs, Allicia (Michael) Harper and Samantha (Zachary) Carty: as well as, 2 great-grandchildren, Jaclyn Harper and Grayson Carty. Services will take place at a later date in Oklahoma.
