Tribute

Myrtle L. Dysart passed from this life on August 14, 2021; she was born September 10, 1931.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Dysart, who passed away on May 5, 1976.  Mom was a simple and content woman.  Her kindheartedness and unselfish demeanor were observed by all who knew her, especially her children and grandchildren.  She never asked for anything but was willing to share what she had with others and was thankful for every act of kindness shown to her.  Our family gatherings were always a wonderful time at her home, where we were continually reminded, “Come whenever you want and stay as long as you want.”  Mom, Grandma, Gigi … even though you are not here in the flesh, you will always remain in our hearts.

Mom is succeeded by her three children: Robert J. Dysart, Jr. and wife, Maria; Howard A. Dysart and wife, Karen; and Sara E. (Dysart) Baswell and husband, Tim; her seven grandchildren: Sara (Dysart) Forrester and husband, Brent; Dallas Dysart and wife, Selena; Jessica (Dysart) Miles and husband, Patrick; Dusty Dysart and wife, Dana; Amanda Dysart; Emily Baswell and fiancé, Chase; and Allison (Baswell) Phillips and husband, Russell; and her nine great grandchildren: Kennedy Wilson, Taylor Forrester, Daelyn Wilkinson, Blake Forrester, Ansley Miles, Piper Miles, Delaney Dysart, McKenzie Dysart, Declan Dysart and one Baby Phillips on the way.

The Family would like to thank those dedicated staff members at Belvedere Commons of Fort Walton Beach who loved and took care of her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.  You may share memories and condolences with the family at www.emeraldcoastfuneralhome.com.
