Murray F. Simmons, Jr., age 87, of Fort Walton Beach, was called to Heaven on July 26, 2017. Murray was born February 16, 1930 in Waverley, Alabama. Murray was a member of the United States Air Force for 20 years, Civil Service, Master Mason in Alpha Lodge Fort Walton Beach, Member of the Scottish Right and Eglin Court #53 Order of Amaranth.
He is survived by his 3 children, Melinda Israel, Leonard Simmons (Bonnie) and Brenda Hoover (David); 10 Grandchildren; 11 Great grandchildren & 1 on the way.  He was the most wonderful Dad and Granddad and he will be extremely missed.  
Visitation will be 11AM to 12PM on Monday, July 31, 2017, with Funeral Service immediately following at Emerald Coast Funeral Home Chapel, 161 Racetrack Road NW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida.   Burial will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery, 316 Beal Parkway NW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  Expressions of love and sympathy can be viewed or submitted online at www.emeraldcoastfuneralhome.com
