LIFE

April 22, 1925
London, England
Parents: Harry and Marie Elizabeth Boddington
Married Richard Wade Huff, March 6, 1944, in Horning, England

Babs married Richard in Horning, England in 1944 and came to America in 1945. As a young WWII bride, she was welcomed by her husband's family in the small town of Dongola, Illinois. The entire town turned out to welcome her. She absolutely loved the United States along with coke, french fries, and banana splits! Babs became a US citizen many years later. She was an amazing wife, homemaker, and mother. She was a dedicated and devoted volunteer during her daughter's high school years of the Sugar Bear Band in Macon, Georgia. After retiring to Fort Walton Beach, Florida she enjoyed traveling, cruising, crafting, and spending time at the beach. Babs became a talented Pastel Artist at the age of 84. She lived the last fourteen years of her life overlooking the water at her daughter Staci’s home. She loved her family, pets, Grandchildren, and most of all her girls.
