Michael David DePass

Michael DePass (Crab Island Mike) passed away suddenly on February 12, 2019 at the age of 53.  He was the owner of Crab Island Online, known as the Mayor of Crab Island.  Mike was a successful businessman who liked to showcase local talent on Crab Island.  Once you met Mike, you were family and he loved the water and the folks that came out during the summer.

He is survived by the love of his life, Mary Chancellor; daughter, Aerial; grandson, Christian; step-daughters, Kaylee, Katlyn and Kelsey; his mother and step-father, Annie and John Johnson; his father, James DePass; his brothers, Jimmy and Paul; his sisters, Paula, Jamie, Sarah, Toni and Stephanie.  He will be missed greatly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at “The Block” on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 3 until 6 PM.  A Go Fund Me page has been set up in honor of Crab Island Mike.
