Melvin Lashon Noble, age 64, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019. He was born in Guntersville, AL to the late William and Bertha Noble.
He retired from the United States Air Force having served from 1974 until 1994: 513th Engineering & Test Squadron SMSGT at Offutt AFB, NE, the Civil Service from 1994 until 2015: 16th Electronic Warfare Technical Advisor, Eglin AFB, FL. He attained numerous military awards including being selected to represent the U.S. Air Force as nominee for the 52d Annual Department of Defense Distinguished Civilian Service Award. Melvin enjoyed spending time with friends and family, karaoke, dancing and Alabama Football, ROLL TIDE!
Survivors include his beloved wife, Denise J. Noble; his daughter, Melanie Noble-White; his son, Michael Westfall; grandchildren, Laynee, Austin, Chrystian, Alyssa and Brycen; his sisters, Olene Hill and Cathy Hill; and his dog, Bama.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 10 AM at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, November 11, 2019 from 6 PM until 7:30 PM.
