Melissa Ann (Green) Naas, age 40, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, at her residence in Crestview, Florida after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born February 2, 1981 in Waycross, Georgia. Her parents are Pamalla (Art) Naas of Blackshear GA, and Mark (Yina) Green of Lakeland, Georgia. She worked as a Deputy Court Clerk at Okaloosa County Clerk of Courts & Comptroller in Crestview, Florida. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Juanita Wells, Richard Wells and paternal grandfather, Malcom O’Neal Green.
Survivors include her loving husband, Michael Adam Naas, 2 children Ethan and Wesley Frye, 2- step children Bailey and Brody Naas, sister Amanda (Mark) Gaither of Lakeland, Georgia, paternal grandmother Muriel Green of Copper City, Florida, aunt Lori (David) Shad of Warner Robins, Georgia, brother in law Stephen Naas, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Melissa’s wishes were not to have a viewing or funeral but a celebration. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the home of Pamalla and Wesley (Art) Naas at 2806 Cason Road, Blackshear, Georgia at 4:00 pm.
The family appreciates all the love and support that family and friends have given and shown this past year through Melissa’s journey.
