Mary Jean Riggins

Mary Jean Riggins, age 71, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida went home on April 26, 2019 peacefully at home.  Mary was born on April 12, 1948 in Union Springs, Alabama to John and Annie Clem Riggins.  Mary was a homemaker that loved people, pets, plants and being outdoors.  Mary is survived by her son, Alonzo Riggins and his wife, Jerica Riggins; daughter, Kizzy Riggins; grandsons, Demitrius Simmons (Brianna) and Deondre’ Riggins; great grandchild, Malea Simmons; nieces, Janice Johnson, Betty Archie (Johnnie), Joyce Guice (Charlie), Samantha Stewart, Michelle Woody (Mike); nephews, Haywood Riggins (Pam), Tim Johnson (Gloria), Jeffrey Johnson, Robert “Bo” Riggins, Calvin Stewart and numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters.  A visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. followed by a funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Rd. NW, Ft. Walton Beach, FL.  A Repass will follow the service at the Evangelistic Revival Center Church, 505 Vermont Avenue, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida 32547.
