Mary A. Labonte

Mary Ann Labonte, age 79, passed away Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 at her home in Mary Esther, Florida.

Mary was born August 15th, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  She was married to Roy Labonte on August 16th, 1957 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Roy preceded her in death on December 17th, 2019.  She is survived by her son Marcus and wife Keryl, her son Anthony and wife Lisa, and daughter Deborah.  Mary has five surviving grandchildren, Bradley, Dominique, James, Daniela and Andres.  She was also preceded by her mother Aline Ricketts, brother James Ricketts, and sisters Judy Shaw and Yvonne Brooks.

Mary will be remembered for her deep love of her family, sailing, the sea and Alan Jackson.  We wish her peace as she begins her next journey.  We pray Roy and Mary are reunited again as the eternal crew of Breez’n Once More.

Mary’s service will be held Saturday, November 7th, 2020, 2:30 at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Road, N.W., Fort Walton Beach Florida 32547.
