Mary Emogene (Rosenlieb) Burgbacher

Mary Emogene Burgbacher of Ft Walton Beach Florida went to her Heavenly Home on September 1, 2020. Mary was born to William and Myrdie Rosenlieb in Antioch, Ohio on December 17, 1922. Mary attended school in Ohio. Mary met and married Francis Burgbacher after graduation from school. Mary and Francis shared many years of companionship, friendship and marriage. Mary and Francis relocated to Ft Walton Beach Florida in 1979. Mary and Francis enjoyed working in her garden. It was a beautiful arrangement of flowers and plants. They remained married until his death in 2004.

Mary worked for many years as a secretary. Mary enjoyed reading, traveling, crossword puzzles and watching westerns.  Mary and Francis enjoyed a close relationship with two nephews, Steven and Mark.

Mary’s parents and two brothers preceded in her death. She leaves to cherish her memories a brother, Don Rosenlieb and sister-in-law, Virginia Rosenlieb. Mary often spoke of her love of her brother. She spoke with him often and always seemed happier after their conversations. Mary also leaves a great niece and nephews to remember her.

Mary was cared for, very loved and provided excellent companionship by her caregivers. All caregivers acknowledged Mrs. Mary Emogene as an absolute joy to care for. She was compassionate, full of life and happy!

The family wishes to thank all the nursing staff and physicians that provided such wonderful services to Mary Emogene at Ft Walton Beach Medical Center and Ft Walton Beach Rehabilitation Center.
