Margaret "Betty" Ourso

Margaret (Betty) Ourso passed away December 28, 2020. She was born September 23, 1930 in Amiete, Louisiana to Robert (Bob) Edward Walsh & Margaret Elizabeth Pechon Walsh.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Myra Ourso & son, Robert E. W. Ourso. Five grandchildren: Chris Drake, Syan, Hunter, Austin & Elizabeth Ourso. Three great-grandchildren: Forest, Colton & Rozlyn. Two great-great-grandchildren: Ryker & Magnus. And her family & dear friends Peggy Dunn and Crystal Daniher.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Roy R. Ourso, daughters Elizabeth & Lolie, and beloved friend Harvey Springton.
Betty was devoted to her family and friends. She was an artist & had two buisness in art and fabric. She was passionate and an activist for both animals and the environment. She was a loving mother & grandmother that was cherished & will be truly be missed. We will miss her laughter, love, kindness & open heart that never met a stranger.
Betty's husband, Roy Ourso, will be inurned at Barrancas National Cemetery on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1:30 PM.
Memorial services for Betty will be Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Emerald Coast Funeral Home.
