Marcia L Cobb

Marcia L. Cobb, of Mary Esther, passed away on September 5th 2023, after a battle with cancer.  She was born on October 26th 1946 to Stanley and Marian Olson. She is survived by her husband John, daughter Krista Napier and husband David, daughter-in-law Felicia Ooton, son Bobby Smith, grandsons Jacob and Tyler Ooton, and granddaughter Sadie smith. She was preceded in death by her son Michael, parents and two brothers. Marcia was born in Helena Montana. She attended the university of Montana where she majored in music. She sang in the university choral group the Jubileer’s.  She was part of that group that did a USO tour in the orient. While living in Florida she was the Mother Advisor for the local Rainbow Girls Assembly and helped mold the lives of many young ladies in the area.  She had a long career in many banking and accounting positions. She also had a love of dogs that led to many animals being cared for and given great lives. Her current dogs will miss her as much as her family.  

There will be a remembrance celebration for Marcia on Saturday September 16th at Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Ft Walton Beach, visitation at 1pm services at 2pm.
