Raymon Lee Enzer, age 85, of Fort Walton Beach, went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2020. Raymon was born January 15, 1935 in Atmore, Alabama, a son of the late Talmadge Enzer and Mary Ella Enzer. Raymon was a retired Master Sergeant and served his country honorably in the United States Air Force where he was a flight mechanic for 26 years. He also retired from the Okaloosa County Water and Sewer Company. Raymon enjoyed spending his time in the country, drinking coffee on the front porch, and watching John Wayne “the Duke” reruns. His family remembers him as a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather with little to no filter.
Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Carolyn Enzer of 53 years, and two sons, Danny Enzer and Terry Enzer. Survivors include his three sons Michael Enzer and his wife Elizabeth Enzer of Texas and their children Ryan, Andrew, and Michelle; Bruce Enzer and his wife Cheryl Enzer of Pace and their children Mandy, Kristin, Lindsey, and Logan; Steve Enzer and his wife Lisa Enzer of Fort Walton Beach and their children Ashley and Brandon; daughter Janet Jarquin and her husband Raul Jarquin of Navarre, and their daughter Tiffany; and 12 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Road, NW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida with burial to follow at Jessie Rogers Cemetery in Mary Esther. Pastor Randy Hamil of Northridge Church will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ryan Enzer, Andrew Enzer, Logan Enzer, Chad Sanders, Chris Haskins, and Brandon Enzer.
