Linda Flo Kestner

On Sunday morning March 28, 2021, Linda Flo Kestner, loving mother and grandmother entered into eternal rest at age 82 at the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.  Linda was born to Harry and Helen (Hester) Gillespie of Empire, Ohio on January 26, 1939.  After graduating from Toronto High School in Ohio and traveling as a military spouse, Linda made her home in Mary Esther, Florida where she resided in the same house for almost 50 years.  Linda also worked for the City of Mary Esther during the late 1980’s.  Aside from loving her many dogs, Linda’s biggest passion in life was watching her children and grandchildren participate in school activities and athletics, particularly baseball, football and the marching band. 

Linda was preceded in death by her father Harry, mother Helen, and sister Pamela Linn.  She is survived by her sister Joyce Pettie of Tennessee, sons Donald Kestner (Carmen), Jeffery Kestner (Jennifer), and  daughter Kimberly Bushey (Michael), grandchildren: Katelin, Ashleigh, Trevor, Sarah and Kameron.

A Private memorial service will be held at Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on Wednesday March 31, 2021 and officiated by Rev Dr. Sam Parkes.
