Lillian Frances (Dudley) Simpson-Rich

Lillian Frances (Fran) Dudley Simpson-Rich left this world peacefully on Friday , July 24, 2018. Fran was born in Virginia in 1933 and moved to Niceville in the early 1960's, where she would  raise her children and pursue her education alongside her husband Earl Simpson. She received a Masters of Science Degree in Counseling and Human Development in 1981 and a  Doctorate of Christian Philosophy in 1996. Her honorary affiliations included: Who's Who in American Education, Okaloosa County Retired Teachers Association,Phi Delta Kappa,

And the Okaloosa County Mental Health Association. Fran was a teacher for children with learning disabilities for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Elizabeth Simpson, son Phillip Simpson, husband Earl Simpson Sr., and husband Ben Rich. Fran is survived by daughter Ann S. Wilson (George Pardalis) of Navarre, Fl. sons; Jack Simpson and Mike Simpson of Mossy Head, Fl., and  Earl Simpson Jr.(Pam) of  N. Carolina As well as, 4 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  

A funeral service to celebrate the Fran’s life will be held on Friday, August 3rd at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation and fellowship from 11am until the time of Service.
