Laufey Osk Nunn

On Monday, April 19, 2021, Laufey O. Nunn “Andresdottir”, loving wife, mother of four, grandmother of three, great grandmother of one, passed away at the age of 90.  Laufey then moved to America and married Charles Benny Nunn in 1960.  Together they raised three children, Alan, Linda, and David. 

The Nunn’s owned Craft Cleaners from 1970 to the early 1980’s when Laufey sold the business and took on a clerk job at Tom Thumb until the year 2000 when she retired.

Laufey had a passion for cats often saving stray kittens to take in as her own to raise and love.  Laufey enjoyed hobbies such as cross stitching, sometimes spending months or even years on intricate beautiful work.

Laufey was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; daughter, Linda and son David.  She is survived by her son, Alan;  daughter, Freyja; grandsons, Joshua, Jeremiah, Johnathan, and her greatest grandson, Cameron.

A funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 12:00 P.M.  at Emerald Coast Funeral Home on Racetrack Road.  The family will receive friends one hour prior.  Burial will take place at Beal Memorial Cemetery immediately following the service.
