June Margaret Clifford

   June was born June 5, 1936 in Manchester, England and passed away on July 24, 2020 at Belvedere Commons, Ft. Walton Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister and her husband of more than 50 years, Allen M. Clifford. She is survived by her niece, Lynn Dey, of Manchester, England, and her significant other, Lt. Col. Donald J. Thelen of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. 

    June was an excellent seamstress and also excelled at needlework. She was known to have made many of her own beautiful suits and dresses. She was an active member of the Bob Hope Village British Wives Club. Members Rita, Alice and Elsie remained her closest friends until her death. Over the last three years, she was a beloved resident of Belvedere Commons. Her energy and her laughter will be dearly missed. 

    June's final resting place will be next to her husband, Allen at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
