June Brown passed away April 5, 2019. June was born on January 31, 1929 in Washington D.C. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother and friend. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Eugene Brown; parents, Frederick and Gertrude Settle and brother, Carl Settle. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Fountain (Johnny); son, Robert Brown; grandson, Chris Colgan (Nicole); great grandchildren, Austin, Miranda and Hannah Colgan; great-great grandchildren, Caden Colgan, Mason York, and Colton York; step grandchildren, Nicolas (Katie), Natasha and Salenna Laubach; step great grandchildren, Gabriel, Theone, Madelyn and Dylan Laubach; brother, Ronald Settle (Mary); many nieces and nephews and wonderful friend of 64 years, Susie Lambert. June worked Civil Service starting at the age of 16 until retiring in December 1989. For many years, she volunteered with HFld Family Services, FWB Shriners and FWB VFW. She became very active with the mall walkers, and loved living in Bob Hope Village. June was very devoted to and involved with her family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Delores Hope All Faiths Chapel on Bob Hope Village with a reception to follow in the Bob Gates Welcome Center.
