Judith Nell Simmons

Judith N Simmons, age 76, of Mary Esther, FL passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, Dec.2, 2021.  

Judy worked 30 years for Dana Corporation in Indiana, as a Piston ring inspector and welder

She was also very active in the Order of the Eastern Star where she was a member for over 50 years.  She was also a Past Bethel Guardian of Bethel #134, New Castle, Indiana International Order of Job’s Daughters. 

Judy was born on July 14, 1945, in New Castle, Indiana to Frank and Christene (Cross) Kettler. 

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Marie (Robert) Donndelinger of FWB, FL and Candy (Darrill) Talley of Fort Ogelthorpe, Georgia; grandchildren, Cody James Sewell of FWB, FL and Kirsten Donndelinger of North Berwick, Maine and many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe W. Simmons; her parents, and sister, Patty Thompson. 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec 15, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, Dec.16, at 11:00 am at Emerald Coast Funeral Home with burial to follow at Heritage Gardens in Niceville with Dr. Kevin Davidson officiating.
