Judith Mae Broyles

It is with physical sadness but spiritual joy that we announce the passing of Judith “Judy” Resley Broyles of Shalimar, FL on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the age of 78.

Judy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Everette Eugene “Gene” Broyles; daughters, Tonya Broyles Coe of Hernando, MS and Tamara Broyles Hinesley of Mary Esther, FL; sister, Vicki Elliott, Colorado; brothers, Ira Curry of Colorado and Donnie Popovich of Calfornia; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  She is proceeded in passing by her mother, Mary Ellen Curry, her father, Clarance Resley and her sister Bonnie Resley all of Colorado.

Judy was an amazing, loving wife and mother who always put others ahead of herself.  She was an active member of Shalimar Baptist Church, Shalimar, FL since 1968 where she served as a secretary and pianist.  Donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in leu of flowers, where Judy’s son-in-law, Charles Coe, serves as Director of Nursing by visiting: http://giftfunds.stjude.org/JudithBroyles.  

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 11 AM at Shalimar Baptist Church with Pastor Chuck Poplin officiating.  Interment will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
