Juanita Loraine Elrod

Juanita L. Elrod, age 94, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on February 19, 2019 with her three daughters by her side.  She was born in 1924 to Otto and Annie McCray in Slick, Oklahoma. Juanita and her husband James enjoyed traveling and caravanning in the RV all over.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading Danielle Steele novels.  Juanita taught piano and organ to those willing to learn. Juanita leaves many cherished memories to her three loving daughters Rita Neal, Janie Trowbridge, and Deana Haire (Wayne); six grandchildren Ronnie Neal (Kim), Natalie Neal, Jason Trowbridge (Lisa), Lance Trowbridge (Michelle), Tara Trowbridge, and Brett Haire; seven great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  A gathering of friends will be 4:00 – 6:00 pm, Sunday February 24, 2019 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach, FL.  Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday February 25, 2019 at the funeral home.  Interment will be 2:00 pm  Monday February 25, 2019 at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola , Florida.
